THE LAMBETH SUMMER CAMP

 

With great regret, we must advise that the Lambeth Summer Camp will not take place in 2026.

For more than three decades, the camp has relied on two essential pillars: the generosity of our funders and the longstanding partnership of the Metropolitan Police, who have managed and delivered the project since its inception.

​

The Metropolitan Police have advised us that, due to increasing pressures on resources and finances, they are unable to support summer camps in London this year.

 

While we fully appreciate their position, their involvement is integral to the safe and effective delivery of the Lambeth Summer Camp. Without their operational support, we must take time to reorganise and plan for the future.

​

As a result, the Trustees have taken the difficult but necessary decision to pause the 2026 camp. During this period, we will be reviewing and updating the charity’s aims and objectives so that we can return stronger and deliver a refreshed Lambeth Summer Camp in 2027.
