The Parallel Youth Enterprise (PYE) is a ‘not for profit’ registered charity No. 1164644 and voluntary organisation who, through working in partnership with Local Police and other agencies, provide an extensive programme of activities that benefit several hundred inner city young people

 

The 3 projects that come under the umbrella of the PYE all encourage good citizenship. We help to ensure that young people are diverted from anti-social behaviour and crime and safeguarded / protected from perhaps being a victim of crime.

The PYE is directed by a Board of Trustees who are charged with deciding policy and direction of the charity. At present, our current trustees are:

Lorraine Jones is the chair of the trustees. She is a pastor and recipient of a 'UK Point of Light Award', as well as being the chair of the Lambeth Independent Advisory Group (IAG).

 

Graham Norman is a Police Inspector and ambassador for the London Christian Police Family who works from Wimbledon Police Station.

Richard Wilson is the Commissioning Development Officer for Croydon's children's social care service.

Simon Thompson who retired from the police service, where he worked as a schools officer and a past summer camp manager. He has extensive experience in organising Duke of Edinburgh awards.

Callum Dann previously volunteered with the charity and is currently a student. and a special constable.

Karen Stokes who worked on the projects for many years and now a serving police officer

The administrator is John Street, a veteran of the summer camps.
